Blast at a building with mining explosives killed and injured many people in India

A few other houses suffered damage. It’s supposed that a  fire may have triggered the blast but the exact cause it;s not yet known. At least 89 people were killed including customers at an adjacent restaurant. Among the victims were a large number of workers who were waiting in area for their daily work. About 100 people were injured and some of them are  in critical condition, according Arun Sharma, Jhabua’s chief medical officer. State Home Minister Babulal Gaur said a high-level inquiry has been ordered into the incident. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh each to killed’s families and Rs 50,000 for those injured. A team of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) was dispatched to help in the salvage operations.
