Six explosions were heard in the vicinity of the parliament. The gunmen entered the building but Afghan security forces managed to fend off. There are unconfirmed reports that five people were killed in the attack, including a child. The Health Ministry has confirmed that 31 people were injured. All six attackers have been killed by Afghan Police, according to Afghanistan’s Interior Ministry. At least three police officers were injured in the attack. Recent targets of Taliban’s attacks in the country have included hotels housing foreigners.
