Dozens killed in a train derailment in Cameroon, hundreds were injured


Bodies were strewn along the tracks as workers continued looking for others injured and dead in Friday’s crash. Transport Minister Edgar Alain Mebe Ngoo said Friday’s accident took place near the central town of Eseka, 120km west of the capital Yaounde. The route is one of the busiest in the country. President Paul Biya ordered the evacuation of the injured to the country’s two main cities. The circumstances that led to the accident will be investigated.
