Detailed scans of Tutankhamun’s tomb wewre analyzed earlier this month and revealed two doorways that were covered up. The scans are being sent to Japan for further analysis in the hope to clarification. A real provocation for archeologists will be how to get through the King Tutankhamun’s tomb to the hidden doorways without damaging it. Nicholas Reeves is Director of the Amarna Royal Tombs Project, and Senior Egyptologist with the University of Arizona Egyptian Expedition. Since 1984 Reeves has been active in various museum and heritage roles. As an archaeologist Nicholas Reeves is best known for his excavations in Egypt’s Valley of the Kings.
