Dozens killed in two ISIS attacks Friday in Syria

At least two ISIS attacks Friday near a Syrian town killed more than 60, mostly civilians and including two Turkish soldiers. A suicide car bomb went off outside a security office operated by the Syrian opposition in a village eight kilometers (five miles) north of al-Bab.

10 people killed in major fire at a luxurious hotel in China

A major fire broke out in the HNA Platinum Mix Hotel Saturday in Nanchang, capital of east China's Jiangxi Province. More than 10 construction workers were working on a decoration project on the second floor when the fire occurred. Many people were trapped inside the building. At least 10 persons were killed and 14 others injured.

A car bomb in Baghdad killed at least 48 Thursday

A car packed with explosives blew up near car dealerships in Baghdad, in the Shia area of Bayaa in the south of the city. The explosion ripped through Iraq's capital shortly before sunset. At least 48 people have been killed. More than 50 people were injured.
