Google has removed some 103 apps from Android’s Play Store because they contain adware and descriptions that were deemed to be misleading.
These apps had managed to rack up 69 million installs before they were pulled. CyberNews claim that the apps are part of an organised network of developers who were abusing user data including location. The goal was to provide such data to marketing agencies. Many of the apps were found to have access to the microphones and cameras of installed devices.

People must uninstall them as they could pose serious personal data issues.
