Coca-Cola company prepared to offer Orange Vanilla Coke

Coca-Cola is adding an all-new flavor to the brand’s lineup in the US: Orange Vanilla Coke.

The new themed flavor will be available nationwide on Monday, February 25, 2019 in two options: Orange Vanilla Coke and Orange Vanilla Coke Zero Sugar. Orange Vanilla Coke and Orange Vanilla Coke Zero Sugar will be available nationwide in 12-oz cans and 20-oz PET bottles. 12-oz sleek cans of Orange Vanilla Coke and Orange Vanilla Coke Zero Sugar will be available for a limited time from March through May 2019. The Australian and Candian market has already gotten a taste of an orange variant of Coca-Cola during a summer promotion.

“We wanted to bring back positive memories of carefree summer days, that’s why we leaned into the orange-vanilla flavor combination – which is reminiscent of the creamy orange popsicles we grew up loving, but in a classically Coke way,”  Kate Carpenter, brand director of Coca-Cola said. It’s a way to encourage customers who are seeking more variety to stick with Coke rather than pick up a different soda, he added. The beverage company is introducing new graphics on the Cherry and Vanilla packages. The Coke flavors that work best are the ones that complement or enhance the original recipe, said Laurent Grandet, a consumer analyst with Guggenheim Securities.
