Pricing details were not announced yet but the phone will certainly be cheaper than Samsung Galaxy S3. As expected, the specifications of the compact version have been reasonably pared down. The change can only make the phone more popular because of its smaller size and possible even smaller price tag. With 1GB of RAM, a dual core 1GHz CPU and a 4inch super AMOLED display, the phone has all it needs to compete with other smart phones on the market.
The above specs are rather good considering the Mini form factor. Galaxy S3 Mini also comes with a 5MP camera and with up to 16GB of internal storage. Samsung will have Android 4.1 Jelly Bean installed on its S3 Mini. It will be interesting to see how a mid-tier processor handles all the software extras that will come with the phone.
