As early as next week gamers will be able to play their original favorite game in the Diablo 3 Public Test Realm server, experiencing again the style, graphics and game-play of the first game. Four main bosses scattered around 16 dungeon levels will bring back good memories to players who will be also experiencing the 8-degree-of-freedom movement limitation. And with a video filter applied to make it look like the original, the Diablo atmosphere that fascinated everybody will be felt once again.
Blizzard also announced a second update called the “Rise of the Necromancer Pack”, which is planned for next year. This will be a paid add-on will require both the Reaper of Souls expansion and the base Diablo 3 game before installation. This update will bring a new character class, the Necromancer, with abilities based around raising the dead. Until now, no release information or price details have been announced.
