Amazon will offer the possibility to change the default search engine to Yahoo or Google but most users will use the default one.
The general manager of marketing at Bing, Adam Sohn did not confirm if the recent deal also includes other Amazon mobile devices such as the E Ink reader. Microsoft is planning to expand its ever growing online presence and deals like this one are very important. Last year Microsoft and Research in Motion announced that BlackBerry phones will feature search and maps powered by Bing.
Google still remains market leader in the search engine wars. According to comScore 67% of searches made in US are made using Google while only 11,5% of the total searches in US are made using Microsoft Sites.
