A new report confirms that Samsung has already began Galaxy S8 firmware development. Even though this is not a proof to confirm previous rumors regarding an early release, it is a sign that the development is on track. The Galaxy S8 ROM is currently being developed for the United States, China, Germany, Italy, France, the UK, Poland and Korea. Support for other countries will follow after the first stable build will be created.
Samsung started the development program for the Galaxy S7 exactly this time last year. This is a very good indicator that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 is in schedule for a regular late February release, just like its predecessors.
