Galaxy Note 7 shipments to South Korea’s top three mobile carriers, where the problem occurred, had been halted. The South Korean firm did not elaborate if shipments to other countries were affected. Samsung will need to respond to this quickly in order to calm market. The phone was launched in South Korea and other markets on Aug. 19. The Galaxy Note 7 has a 5.7in Quad-HD display, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage (with microSD!) and an improved S Pen is available. It has also a 64-bit octa-core processor. Blue Coral, Gold Platinum and Black Onyx were available at launch. The Silver Titanium version of the Note 7 will not be available at launch but will be coming soon.
