As announced,  Microsoft plans to discontinue almost all support for Internet Explorer 8, 9, and 10. Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 users already have IE11 A patch rolling out Tuesday for Windows 7 will detect the version of IE you have and then continue to remember you to upgrade. However, there is an exception here: Windows Vista will continue to get support for Internet Explorer 9 until April 2017.  Balancing between the help of features offered by the upgraded versions of the Microsoft software and the fact that in many cases users are forced to upgrade first their computers the money question will probably decide. An ethical aspect about Microsoft’s decisions to refuse support to users who had paid for the software they have will probably increasing stronger in the future.
