The consumer-focused desktop edition is Windows Home. It will be replicated by Windows 10 Mobile, with almost the same applications but with two new touch-optimised version of Office.Windows 10 Pro will include features like data protection, efficient management of multiple synced devices and apps, remote and mobile productivity support, and leveraging of cloud technologies. Other Windows 10 variants will be the Enterprise , Mobile Enterprise and Education editions. Probably the most provocative will be Windows 10 IoT Core, prepared to be used for devices like ATMs, retail point of sale, handheld terminals and industrial robotics. Microsoft announced at the same time that the company plans to provide the software as a service and continue releasing updates to the same instead of releasing a new OS.
