From the original soundtrack of the game a total of 17 songs were removed. There are some other minor changes as well.
The new edition of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas which is not available on Steam also removes some resolution options (including the 1080p option) which were earlier introduced with a patch. Other minor feature changes include the support for Xbox 360 controllers.
This was not the first time a Steam version of Grand Theft Auto got problems due to music licensing rights. Back in 2012 when Grand Theft Auto Vice City marked the 10th birthday of the game series, PC gamers could no longer temporarily find the game on Steam. Today thanks to all the updates Grand Theft Auto San Andreas is compatible to Xbox 360’s recently released high definition port.
