One Android following countries are Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Indonesia and the Philippines. The first line of Android One smartphones for Google was developed by Micromax, Karbonn, and Spice. Even being cheap, those smartphones have front and rear-facing cameras, quad-core MediaTek CPUs, microSD card support and dual SIM card slots. Android One phones will run stock Android, get automatic updates, and access Google’s Play Store for apps and media content. Google’s goal is to have finally such devices built by big brands like Acer, Alcatel, ASUS, HTC and Lenovo. All Android One devices will stay up-to-date with the latest version of Android.
As announced, the manufacturers will continue to improve the quality and aesthetic variety of Android One devices over time. Approximately 400 million phones will be sold in the next five years in India. Google first expressed explicit interest in this market when it launched Android 4.4 KitKat last year.
