Samsung has worked on its new mobile platform together with Intel Corp. in order to be able to provide an alternative to the popular Android operating system which it currently uses for all its products from the Galaxy line. Android has grew so popular in the past years that it currently accounts for close to 80 percent of the smart phone market all over the world.
