There’s no good news for Xbox in regard to competition. The gaming console faces stiff competition from the likes of PlayStation 5 from the Sony Corporation and the Wii U from Nintendo. While from a gamers’ perspective, they want to go online and interact with the world, Microsoft’s strategy is to make the Xbox the entertainment center for the family.
From the perspective of the industry watchers, there will be a huge improvement in the new version of the XBox when Microsoft will unveil the new installment in Washington at its headquarters.
According to Microsoft, console gaming still leads the gaming market with 42% market share which is worth $65 billion. That being a positive, people are more prone to playing games on the go on their smartphones and mobile devices or at the social networking websites.
