Microsoft to offer Windows 8.1 update for free



Microsoft so far has never charged for an update to its operating system. In continuation of that culture, Windows 8.1 update will be offered for free. Customer who will buy the Windows 8 now can also get the updated Windows 8.1 later.

Earlier in October, 2012 Microsoft unveiled its new operating system, Windows 8. The changes made to Windows are a growing reflection of people’s changing taste towards smartphones and tablets. Windows 8 will also work on touch-screen mobile devices that people use now-a-days.

Nonetheless, the new interface of Windows 8 has bewildered a lot of customers. There’s been a radical change in layout compared to the past installments of Windows operating systems. . The layout is akin to that of the icons present inside the tablet PCs or smartphones.
