Reportedly iOS 6 was jailbroken the very same day.
Experts thought iOS 6 could not be jailbroken on iPhone 5. This Friday, a known Apple iOS developer and hacker, Grand Paul, is believed to have hacked iOS 6 on iPhone 5 and manage to jailbrake it.
His hack was questioned by fellow hackers and security experts and as proof Paul supplied several photos that confirm the hack.
By having the iPhone 5 jailbroken it is possible to install applications through the Cydia Store instead of using Apple’s App Store. No details regarding how the phone was jailbroken were made public. A jailbreak solution will be most likely made public after at least a couple of months.
