UPS is working to prepare its delivery with drones system

Most drones can operate between 20 and 30 minutes.but drones require a significant amount of battery power, so they can only stay in the air for a limited amount of time. Delivery from truck system supposes UPS driver inside loads a package into a cage and presses a button on a touch screen, sending the drone on a preset autonomous route to an address. “This test is different than anything we’ve done with drones so far. It has implications for future deliveries, especially in rural locations where our package cars often have to travel miles to make a single delivery,” said Mark Wallace, UPS senior vice president of global engineering and sustainability. Bolstering efficiency and reducing polluting emissions at the same time are the company’s goals.
