The move is made directly against the popular photo sharing tool Instagram which happens to be a former Twitter partner. The partnership took a tool when Instagram was purchased by another social networking giant Facebook. Stating Sunday, the photo-sharing service of Instagram pulled the capability of previewing photos captured with its software integrated on Twitter.
The newly launched tool from Twitter will allow the users to edit a picture from their phone’s photo library and share on Twitter. It will also enable the users to have Twitter stream along with mini captions.
The new app is available for users on Android platform. A version for iOS is yet to be released. Though the new app is making Twitter a competitor to Instagram but still Instagram has more to offer the users in terms of feature.
