The announcement comes just a week before the company’s I/O developers’ conference. The changes are expected to roll out within the next 2 weeks. The newly increased added storage will mostly benefit who heavily rely on the Google services. The competitors of Google such as, Dropbox offers 2GB of space, SkyDrive from Microsoft offers 7 GB and Apple iCloud offers 5GB of space.
Google offering 15 GB will surely change the scene and the venture might eventually help Google generate more revenue than the rest.
The new storage may just be an addition of space to the current storage system or feature a new interface. Whatever may be the case, the service will surely put a smile on the users who use Google’s service.
