She is now eyeing to win the fourth straight title on Sunday when she will face Victoria Azarenka in the finals.
The final match is expected to be well fought one as Azarenka was the last player to have defeated Williams. That happened during final of the Qatar Open back in February. Serena will now get a chance to avenge that defeat. Victoria Azeranka reached the finals by defeating Sara Errani in straight sets 6-0 7-5.
After the loss in Qatar Open, Williams has won titles in Madrid, Miami and Charleston. During her 23 match streak of winning, she was forced to 3 sets only 4 times. No one has been able to do that during the Italian Open this week.
Qatar Open finals scheduled to take place on Sunday will mark the 3rd scheduled meeting of the year between Victoria Azeranka and Serena Williams. The match will be an intriguing one considering the two best in business female tennis stars will feature in it.
