Rajasthan Royals beats Sunrisers Hyderabad

Earlier in the day, Sunrisers won the toss and elected to bat first. In a slow match, the Sunrisers had a sluggish start. In the first 11 overs, the Sunrisers managed to put up mere 55 runs losing 3 top-order batsmen. Shikhar Dhawan was the top scorer of the innings scoring 33 runs. Darren Sammy led the last half of the innings and scored 31 valuable runs helping Sunrisers post a respectable total of 132 runs for the loss of 7 wickets.

Coming into bat, Royals had a steady start scoring 50 for 2 off the first 40 balls. But, after that Royals had a collapse losing the next 3 wickets within 7 runs. Brad Hodge then came to the rescue. Along with Samson, the duo took the score past 100 before Samson fell scoring  just 10 off 21 balls. Hodge took the team past victory.
