After being arrested by the police for questioning, the Board of Control for Cricket in India has suspended the three players. The three players are convicted with the charge of spot-fixing. In a statement released by franchise that these players belong to have said that, the revelation has come up as a total shocker for them. The BCCI is also shocked and at the same time saddened by this unexpected turn of events.
Under section 420, a case has been filed at Marine drive police station in Mumbai. The players are currently in custody of the Delhi police. Earlier on Ednesday night, the Rajasthan Royals played a match against Mumbai Indians. After the match was over, Chavan and Chandila were detained by the police.
