In a statement the English Cricket Board (ECC) has stated that, the injury is most likely to need constant assessments and KP is most likely to get a rest of 6-8 weeks. It also means that, Kevin Pietersen will be missing out the Indian Premiere that’s scheduled to start next month. His absence will be dearly be felt by his team “Delhi Daredevils”.
Earlier in the series, Kevin Pietersen scored a duck and 12 in the first Test, but after that in the second test match he came back strong scoring 73.
Not just the current series or the IPL, Kevin Pietersen’s injury also makes him doubtful for the starter of the New Zealand’s returning series.
The English fans are hopeful that Pietersen will make a recovery to not miss out the all-important Ashes.
