Pakistan Wins the 2nd ODI to level the 5 match Series

After losing the first match of the 5-match ODI series, Pakistan came out strong and defeated South Africa by 6 wickets in the second ODI match in Centurion. Friday’s match got affected by rain and play was stopped for a few hours. After the rain stopped, the match began and was curtailed to 44-overs.

X Games Safety under Scrutiny Following Snowmobile Caleb Moore’s Death


Yesterday 25 year old Caleb Moore, an acclaimed snowmobiler, died after succumbing to injuries he sustained during the X Games last week. Moore crashed his snowmobile performing a back flip trick during the games. He was at the Colorado hospital since then getting treatment for brain complications he sustained.

‘Ping Pong Diplomacy’ Chinese Player Dies


Table tennis Chinese player, Zhuang Zedong has died at the age of 73. The news of his death was release through Xinhua, the state news agency. The player was widely known as ‘ping pong diplomacy’ because he helped thaw war relation between China and the US. Zhuang had a chance meeting with a United States player and this was instrumental towards the decision made by Beijing to invite the table tennis American team for a match sometime in 1971.

Lance Armstrong Admits To Doping


Lance Armstrong admitted to doping, during an interview last night with Oprah Winfrey. The former cycling champion finally admitted to doping after denying this fact for years. He disclosed that he was the ringleader of a U.S Postal Service doping scheme which saw him get on the Tour de France podium severally.
