SpaceX first success was shooting a capsule in space and getting it back in the month of May. SpaceX, Space Exploration Technologies Corp, is the first private company that visits the U.S. space station. U.S. shuttle program was scheduled in 2011 for mandatory retirement. The U.S. shuttle program saw the final launch in 8th of July 2011 with the Atlantis launch.
Ever since U.S. retired its fleet of shuttles, SpaceX plans to get more and more cargo supply missions this year. They even want to start transporting astronauts to the space station.
