In the southern Coastal state of Guerrero a house was destroyed by a landslide and many people died. Hundreds of homes were damaged across the country and communications were temporarily interrupted.
At the same time, Ingrid Hurricane produced big damages on the other side of the country with maximum sustained winds of 75 mph. 700 people had been evacuated from coastal communities from Tamaulipas.
Manuel was downgraded to a tropical depression late Sunday, but the U.S. National Hurricane Center warned that its heavy rains could still cause flash floods and mudslides.
Due to improper conditions the Independence Day celebration was cancelled in affected states.
