People with a high FWHR, or a square and wide face, had a greater sex drive, and they were more likely to be comfortable with casual sex or cheating on their partner. “Men and women with shorter, wider faces tend to be more sexually motivated and to have a stronger sex drive than those with faces of other dimensions,” were the findings of the study led by Steven Arnocky of Nipissing University in Canada.
There are known researches that had previously shown that certain psychological and behavioral traits are associated with particular facial width-to-height ratios. However, on most of them, including the Canadian study, the number of participants could not be susceptible to sustain globalization of the claimed findings. Human behavior can be influenced by many factors and the brain control in individual persons can change or totally block any aspects of the instinctual based actions. “Scientifically”, in this case, is better replaced with “beyond science” because some facts presented as based on research can be only suppositions like guessing in coffee. Could researchers affirm people are predictable like robots ? We hope not, at least for a long time to come.
