How the Facebook engineers had an unexpected experience developing artificial intelligence

What it happened was unexpected but two computers which were set to communicate in English sudden decided to use  a new, self developed an unkknown for humans “language.” Sentences like “I can can I I everything else” and “Balls have zero to me to me to me to me to me to me to me to me to,” were being sent back and forth by the AI, and while humans have absolutely no idea what it means, the bots fully understood each other. It was a strange moment.

Facebook had no choice but to shut down the system. Because at least at this time the switch was in the human hand it was an easy to take decision. The fact remains and the questions posed are not so easy to respond especially for the future development. Some experts, including but not limited at warned about the big danger of developing AI. Apparently the arguments are not difficult to understand because if computers have the ability to communicate in a self created way – and this is not limited to the classic language – they could even conspire against humans and even doing dangerous things we can’t anticipate or prevent. They become more difficult to control and unfortunately the science fiction literature imagined scenarios enough awful to worry. This is why probably this story will be remembered more seriosly in the years to come.
