On the Los Angeles Converter Center are represented video games companies, business partners and media analysts from over 100 countries. This event owned by the Entertainment Software Association (ESA) is a goldmine for software developers, distributors, buyers and retailers.
To help maximize the personal show experience an online application – interactive floor plan – was conceived to help as “My E3 Expo Planner.” As confirmed by the ESA, Los Angeles will host E3 through 2015. “Video games are a dominant force in the global entertainment marketplace and there is no better place to display that than Los Angeles” said Michael D. Gallagher, CEO of the ESA.
Some of the most popular videogames presented with releases at this E3 edition are: Final Fantasy XY, Titanfall, Killer Instruct, Mario Kart 8, World of Warships, Defiance, Batterfield 4 and more. A new generation of trials was announced. At the same time, some new video devices was announced. Sony PlayStation4 (price: $399) was revealed for the first time. Microsoft Corporation had news about XBox One that will launch in November 2013.
E3 proved once again that the video game industry is growing, with millions of consumers around the world.
