Michelle Obama and Malia wore royal blue dresses matching Obama’s suit and complementing the White House’s Blue Room where the ceremony was held. However, Sasha wore a pink lacy dress complete with a gold high-waist belt – a trend which the first lady is attributed to having popularized.
The first lady paired her blue dress with a blue cardigan and finished off the look with her new bangs. The first lady’s trendy bangs was unveiled last week on a photo taken during her 49th birthday in the White House circulated online creating a buzz.
The first lady, however, maintained her designer of choice having worn a Krakoff gown and tote bag on other occasions. . The bangs are the boldest hair style choice the first lady has made so far and if the past is anything to go by, we can expect bangs to be a popular style this year.
