Ford Motor Detroit automaker presented Monday its newest high-performance pickup F-150 Raptor R. It is equiped with a supercharged 5.2-liter V-8 engine that produces 700 horsepower and 640 foot-pounds of torque. It includes some design tweaks. The exhaust and intake are changed. Ford doesn’t get the bragging rights of “most powerful,” but it is claiming “most torque dense engine” in an off-road pickup. The 10-speed auto is modified to add performance.
Ford is offering the Raptor R in a single all-black interior spec. Recaro seats come standard. The truck will start at $109,145, including destination and delivery charges. The company previously used the engine for the Ford Mustang Shelby GT500. The Raptor R comes with every possible option.
