The car was listed for sale on eBay with an initial asking price of $89,000. However, one lucky buyer ended up buying it for $18,000 less. The car which resembles a spacecraft is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged Chevy engine. Its doors open vertically and it has both front and rearview cameras to help with parking manoeuvres.
The ETV was built by Mike Vetter. Mike is really known around the world for the crazy things he likes to do with rides like the Toyota MR2 or with the Porsche Boxster. The ETV (short for extra-terrestrial vehicle) is a concept car, one of a kind kit car with Lamborghini doors / Gull wing doors. The very wide front wind-shield actually makes it very easy to see forward and on the sides and also helps make the car look ahead of its time. It can go over just about anything without problems thanks to the air adjustable struts from the front of the car.
