The number of cough syrup victims is likely to increase soon. Two other people are currently being treated in a hospital but their situation is not clear yet.
As a response to the increasing amount of cough syrup related deaths Police arrested three drug store owners and took some samples of the specific brand of cough syrup in order to send it back to laboratory for analysis.
Police officer Multan Khan wants to stop these cases from happening but unfortunately it is very hard to control what homeless people do. Since drugs are expensive and hard to find there are a lot of people, mostly drug addicts, which drink the cough syrup in order to get high.
