The infection was finally neutralized by using blood plasma taken from people with healthy immune systems who had received immunization against polio. Highly mutated polio strains, originating from vaccines, had recently been isolated from sewage samples in Slovakia, Finland, Estonia and Israel. The fact is linked again to individuals having immunodeficiency.. The discovery is opening big questions and possibly will change the human thinking about vaccination because it was proved that specific factors, as immunodeficiency is, could change the individual reaction and influence the result. Not all humans are equal in their autoimmune response and sometimes this can be a danger to activate viruses used in vaccines.
