The President told to Americans to vaccinate their kids as measles prevention

The disease was declared eradicated from the U.S. in 2000. This is a serious health threat right now in the US and even the American President is involved in the nation aware of this fact. In an interview with NBC Sunday, Obama said measles outbreaks are preventable and told parents to get their kids vaccinated. He said a major success of civilization is the ability to prevent diseases that have been devastating in the past. Opposition to vaccines has grown over the past decade, despite the scientific community’s agreement on their safety, and the Centers for Disease Control’s assurance that the United States “has the safest, most effective vaccine supply in history.” The vaccine debate has been problematic even for politicians in the past.
