Elton John took decision to focus on his family. “I want to appreciate my family, my sons, my husband, everything. I’ve earned it,” he said. But he also said that although he was done touring, he would continue working on new music. “You know how much I like to play live. It’s been my lifeblood to play for you guys, and you’ve been absolutely magnificent,” he told to his audience in the Swedish capital, playing for more than two hours. The show on Saturday included “Bennie and the Jets,” “Tiny Dancer,” “Candle in the Wind” and “Rocket Man.” Sweden’s daily Expressen called the final show “an important chapter in the history of rock ‘n’ roll which is about to end”.
