Rapper Fredo Santana has died


The “Dope Game” rapper was hospitalized recently for liver and kidney problems, which he was suffering from for several months. He was  living in L.A. Santana’s only album was in 2013, titled “Trappin Ain’t Dead,” which featured Kendrick Lamar on “Jealous.”


Fredo’s first mixtape, It’s a Scary Site, was released on September 20, 2012 and featured production by TM88, Young Chop, 12Hunna, Leek E Leek, J-Hill, C-Sick, Paris Bueller as well as guest appearances from Chief Keef, Lil Reese, King L, Gino Marley, Frenchie, Lil Herb, Lil Bibby, and Lil Durk.. Fredo had appeared in Drake’s video for Hold On, We’re Going Home, playing a man who kidnapped Drake’s girlfriend. The star had collaborated with huge names in music including Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Soulja Boy and Migos. Fredo was father to a baby son, Legend Derrick Coleman, who frequently appears on his Instagram. The name of his girlfriend was never revealed.
