Prodigy was hospitalized a few days ago in Vegas. Prodigy formed Mobb Deep with his partner Havoc (Kejuan Muchita) in the New York City in the 1990s. They released their first duo in 1992 with the name Poetical Prophets, and released their first Mobb Deep album a year later with the album Juvenile Hall.

The album “The Infamous”sold over 500,000 copies within the first two months after release, in 1995. It was followed by “Hell on Earth” a year and a half later. Prodigy launched a solo career in 2000. He released his last album “Hegelian Dialectic” in January this year. His fans have covered now the social media with messages of condolences.
