The holiday season is all set to offer the movie goers with a number of options. Animation film, literary adaption movie and the vampire saga are all set to fight with each other to come out on top. By the looks of things, the vampire saga is expected to come out on top as the leading grosser.
The other two movies to get a release include “Life of Pi” and “Rise of the Guardians”. The 5-day Thanksgiving break may just prove to be a blessing for all three movies.
On Wednesday, Twilight already garnered $12.8 million bringing it net gross to $175.7 million.
The latest installment of James Bond “Skyfall” is placed next to “Breaking Dawn: Part 2 “. Skyfall has garnered $7.5 million making its net gross to $178.1 million.
“Guardians” was third with $4.9 million, followed by the Steven Spielberg directed was placed fourth with $4.21 million preceded by Guardians with $4.9 million. The Life of Pi took seventh place garnering $3.7 million.
Full weekend estimates will be out on Sunday.
