
On Saturday evening at the Berlinale Palast, have beed announced winners at the 73rd Berlin Film Festival. At this edition, the festival opened with Rebecca Miller’s latest She Came to Me, starring Peter Dinklage, Marisa Tomei, Joanna Kulig, Brian d’Arcy James, and Anne Hathaway. Actress Kristen Stewart headed the international competition jury of five women and two men. This year’s Honorary Golden Bear was handed to Steven Spielberg. ‘20,000 Species of Bees’ star Sofía Otero becomes the youngest-ever winner of Berlin’s Silver Bear for best leading performance. Berlin was the first major film festival to introduce gender-neutral acting awards. The German trans actress Thea Ehre took the Silver Bear for best supporting performance, in Christoph Hochhäusler’s transgender crime romance Till the End of the Night.
