British film director Tony Scott jumped to his death


Tony Scott died at 68.

U.S. Coast Guard declared to the press that they suspect this to be a suicide because they found a suicide note inside of Anthony David Scott’s car. The car was parked on one of the lanes of the bridge. His body was recovered by divers at 4:30pm.

Some of the movie titles directed or produced by “Tony” Scott that made him famous are: “Top Gun”, “Beverly Hills Cop II”, “Crimson Tide”, “The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3”. We will always remember him for the great producer and director that he was. Scott’s iconic look is definitely the red baseball cap that he was wearing.

The entire world is in grief and Hollywood reacted with the same sadness when hearing about his suicide. American singer-songwriter Marco Antonio Muñiz tweeted: “Rest in Peace brother. Tony Scott A Genius silenced.” The american film director Ronald William “Ron” Howard tweeted: “No more Tony Scott movies. Tragic day.”. Their posts were re-tweeted thousands of times.
