The film’s official title was announced on May 21. Batman and Superman- as characters – have a long history of teaming up in the comic book universe but the film would not be based on the graphic novel. „We’re bringing Batman into the universe that now this Superman lives in,” director Zack Snyder said. The film has now an official Web site where the logo is exposed (at http://batmanvsupermandawnofjustice.com). As some commentators anticipated, considering the order of the names in the title Batman is the one who is confrontational and instigates the battle in this story, and so he’s the one who is “versus” Superman here, not the other way around. Commercially, something may be linked to Batman’s popularity, at the same time. But public and fans know very little about the details of this film. The soon release of more official images are expected to clarify. Will also star Israel-born actress Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman; Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luther; Jeremy Irons as Alfred, Bruce Wayne’s loyal guardian; and Holly Hunter in a newly created role. Additional shooting locations will be in Illinois, Africa and the South Pacific.
