Many low-rated shows were cancelled by the principal TV networks


NBC cancelled Dracula, which starred Jonathan Rhys Meyer as the bloodthirsty Count. They renewed Parenthood for a sixth and final season.. At the same time Parks & Recreation’s next season will be its last. Donald Trump announced on Twitter last night that NBC has renewed The Celebrity Apprentice, but the network said no decision has been made. Fox cancelled four rookie shows: the comedies Enlisted, Dads and Surviving Jack and also Rake. More, last week Fox cancelled the rookie sci-fi drama, Almost Human Enlisted, a military-themed comedy, which was highly praised by the critics, will remain. ABC on Friday cancelled Mixology, Trophy Wife (both rookie comedies), Super Fun Night, Suburgatory and The Neighbors. Nashville, the country-fried drama starring Hayden Panettiere and Connie Briton, was renewed despite so-so ratings. The CW on Thursday cancelled The Carrie Diaries, Star Crossed and Tomorrow People. The TNT cancelled Southland and Monday Mornings. Possibly other shows will be reviewed soon.
