It is thus expected that the longest-running scripted show in television history, The Simpsons, could also be available online to all FX Now application subscribers to be streamed over various mobile devices or on the Web from any web browser.
John Landgraf, the CEO of FX Networks, refused to provide any financial data related to the deal but did say in an interview that FX has big plans for this Simpsons deal. Among other animated series that will run on FXX there are: Archer, Bigfoot and Chozen. Experts in the field believe that the biggest syndication deal in history for TV will help FX build a good schedule and will ultimately boost its ad revenue once the show will be airing.
