A man with body armor, dressed in black entered the theater while carrying an assault rifle. Many people from the theater were immediately scared even though another man dressed in an Iron Man suit was next to the man dressed in black. Police arrived to the Jefferson City Goodrich Capital 8 Theater after they were called by some of the people.
Doug Shoemaker, Police captain, explained that: “There’s really no good that can come of this … It’s an unfortunate lack of wisdom in this particular judgment that hopefully will never occur again.”
The owners of the theater issued a public apology and admitted they could have alerted everyone present at the movie that the actors they will see used fake weapons.
People are very scared of guns. Seeing a masked person with guns entering a movie theater reminded everybody of the shooting in Colorado when James Holmes killed 166 people during the premier of the movie “The Dark Knight Rises”
