President Obama and Michelle Obama had attended 2 inauguration balls on Monday hosted at the Washington Convention Center. The White House affair saw the president let loose and have a Gangnam dance-off with RnB singer Usher, while the first lady danced to Beyonce’s hit ‘Single Ladies.’
Among the list of guests were Alicia Keys, John Legend, John Mayer, Katy Perry and Kelly Clarkson. The media was not allowed at the event, but the guests in attendance posted highlights of the night on social media networks.
President Obama and Michelle Obama truly enjoyed the event, with the first lady dancing in her seat as Obama introduced the musicians. President Obama jokingly commented that it had been a long week and that was why the first lady was “getting a little silly” during the occasion.
Lady Gaga was undeniably the highlight of the event’s performances with her performance of ‘Edge of Glory’ and ‘Born This Way.’ She also did a show stopping performance of ‘The Lady is a Tramp’ alongside Tony Bennett.
